Bonita Beach is located downtown Bonita along Hickory Boulevard in Bonita Springs Florida. This beautiful beachfront Park is located at the northern tip of Bonita Beach and provide several amenities for locals and visitors alike. There are shelters with tables, barbecue grills, cabanas and a sand volleyball court. It’s also a children’s playground and restrooms.

Looking for something fun to do on the weekends or not the kids are out of school keeping them occupied for the afternoon? Head down to Bonita Beach. Bring a picnic and a good book as well is some lounge chairs and towels and let the kids play. You can relax in the warm Florida sunshine with white sandy beaches while the kids expel all that energy and the waves and the shallow water on Bonita Beach.

Parking is just $2 an hour which is very convenient although it is limited especially on the weekends when the beach is a lot more packed.

Bonita Beach has been open to the public for over 10 years and provides a great location to get away, have a family reunion or beach party, or simply had out in the morning at around 10 AM when the beach is practically vacant. You can catch the sunshine in the morning and head inside in the afternoon before the really hot sun hits.

Bonita Beach is part of the Lee County Parks and Recreation of Southwest Florida so its properly maintained by the County. One perk for residents of Bonita Springs is that you don’t need a saltwater fishing license although other Florida residents not locals from Bonita Springs still me license if they’re doing any saltwater fishing from shore. But if you’re a resident of Bonita Springs, by all means, bring your fish and Paul in your best agency which you can catch from the shoreline. You want to stay away from where people are swimming so as not to interfere or harm anyone.

Bonita Beach is a wonderful place to come for locals and visitors. Docks Beach House restaurant is adjacent to the park as are several shops and restaurants close by.
