The Bonita Springs Florida YMCA is located at 27200 Kent Rd. It’s also called the YMCA of Southwest Florida and offers a variety of events, activities, and things to do for people of all ages.Bonita Springs YMCA

First realized by a group of civic leaders in the late 1990s, it wasn’t until 2005 that the YMCA in Bonita Springs opened its doors thanks to generous donations from residents, community leaders and dismisses around Bonita Springs.

The YMCA is a 24,000 square-foot facility on over 16 acres with a variety of health and wellness programs, classes, afterschool care, tutoring and summer camps. There are events and activities for families and youth as well as aquatics and group exercise classes and senior facilities.

The YMCA hours are from 5 AM to 9 PM Monday through Friday and on Saturday from 7 AM to 5 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM.

The pool has a different hours: Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 8 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM and Sunday from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM. But remember, there are usually events, classes and activities throughout this time so be sure to check with the front desk on specific hours and new pool our starting May 6 for the summer. But the pool is certainly something to check out. With waterpark and splash park activities for kids, swim lessons, swim team and aquatic fitness lessons as well as CPR classes, the aquatics of the YMCA in Bonita Springs is a well-rounded place to be for swimming.

Summer camp

There’s always events and activities going on throughout the summer at the YMCA in Bonita Springs. Fort Myers camp has a variety of full day and sports camps as well as dance, art and gymnastics camp for ages 5 to 12. The Bonita Springs camp features full day for ages 5 to 14, full-day sports camp ages 8 to 14 and summer dance, art and gymnastics programs from pre-K to 12 years old. Lehigh Acres, Venice Camp and Englewood Camp also have a lot of programs going on this summer.

In addition to summer camps and aquatics you can also schedule birthday parties, afterschool and full-day childcare, group exercises, races and tournaments, sports and even tutoring and education leadership classes.
